Big Ben, England
The Palace of Westminster and the clock tower especially, is one of the world's most famous buildings. The nickname "Big Ben" actually refers to the 13.5 ton bell at the top of the clock tower. The 95.7 meter (314 foot) clock tower sounds its quarter hour bell every 15 minutes.
